Chennai Super Kings defeated Mumbai Indians by 20 runs in this exciting match. Rohit Sharma scored an unbeaten 105 in 63 balls while batting brilliantly in this match. But his century could not win the team.
Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to field and invited Chennai Super Kings to bat. Taking full advantage of that, CSK scored 206 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Mumbai Indians were given a good start by Rohit and Ishan Kishan and a brilliant partnership took them to 63 runs in the power-play. Kishan hit a four off Tushar Deshpande’s second ball and then hit consecutive sixes and fours off Shardul Thakur in the third over.
