Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has accused Google of running a “racist, anti-civilization” program through AI. This happened when Google blocked the ability of Gemini AI to create images of people. Because whatever historical images were being created by AI, there were inaccuracies in them and controversy broke out over those inaccuracies.
“I’m glad Google ignored their role in AI image creation because it made their racist, anti-civilization programming clear to all,” Elon Musk wrote on social media platform X.
The controversy flared up when Google’s Gemini (formerly Bard) AI platform misrepresented images of typically white figures (like America’s ‘Founding Fathers’) and Nazi-era German soldiers as “people of color.”
The company said in an earlier statement that it was aware of inaccuracies being introduced by Gemini in some historical imaging depictions.

The generation generates Gemini’s AI image to a wide range of people and is used by people around the world, the company said. So if seen, it is a good thing. But here its mark is missing.
Jack Krawczyk, product lead for Google’s Gemini AI, has been hit out by Tesla billionaire Elon Musk over inaccuracies in image generation depictions.
Gemini’s image-building skills are designed to “reflect our global user base,” said Jack Krawczyk, product lead at Gemini, on Gemini’s image-building skills.
SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said, “I’m not picking on any rando. “This is crazy, and it’s a big part of why Google’s AI is so racist and sexist.”
Tech billionaire Musk further said that when he searched Google on his phone, he saw the top two options supporting censorship.
Earlier this month, Google began offering image generation through its Gemini (formerly Bard) AI platform.
