The BNI Trade and Industry Fair in Bilaspur have drawn thousands of visitors from Bilaspur and nearby areas at the Science College Ground. This trade fair, eagerly awaited by businessmen nationwide for 20 years, became a unique identity for Bilaspur. Unfortunately, due to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the fair could not be organized for three consecutive years.
BNI, showing great initiative, worked hard to revive this trade fair. The Fair Committee, led by Dr. Kiran Pal Singh Chawla, along with Convenor Ganesh Aggarwal, Co-convenor Rajiv Aggarwal, and all BNI members, successfully realized their dream with just 15 days of dedicated effort.
The SECL trade fair features over 300 stalls covering a wide range of product categories. Stalls showcasing automobiles, IV Scooty School-Coaching, Apollo Hospital, various delicious dishes, handicrafts, and stalls by women entrepreneurs in the Foodzone have become special attractions. The fair also offers facilities such as dental care, eye care checkups, and blood donation for thalassemia patients.
Adding an extra layer of entertainment, the Abujhmad Malkhamb team from Narayanpur district in Chhattisgarh was invited to showcase their talents. The breathtaking feats of Malkhamb left the audience thrilled and captivated, particularly by the performances of children from remote areas.
Coach Manoj, praising the talent and hard work of the children, mentioned their India’s Got Talent award and their upcoming participation in America’s Got Talent. He expressed hope that these children, despite growing up with limited resources, would bring glory to the country and Chhattisgarh. Executive Director Dr. Kiran Pal Chawal applauded the children’s talent.
Chief guest Ajay Yadav, IG Bilaspur, commended the well-organized BNI Trade and Industry Fair, emphasizing its role in providing the public with information about new products and services. Special guest Colonel T.P. Kandra, VC Maharishi University, praised the event and predicted a future where Bilaspur would lead the country in education.
Renowned industrialist Pramod Khediya and Bilaspur CREDAI President Sohail Haq also praised the event. BNI Givers’ Gain Awards were presented to individuals in the 40-50 age group for their outstanding contributions. The awards ceremony honored several individuals, recognizing their remarkable achievements in various fields.
In essence, the BNI Trade and Industry Fair in Bilaspur not only provided a platform for businesses but also showcased the city’s talent and accomplishments, leaving a positive impact on both residents and visitors.
