Olympic bronze medallist Bajrang Punia faces provisional suspension by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) after allegedly failing to furnish a urine sample during the trials conducted in Sonipat on March 10, according to a source familiar with the situation as reported by IANS.
Punia’s eligibility to partake in any upcoming tournaments or trials has been compromised pending the resolution of his suspension.
Despite numerous attempts to reach him for comment, Bajrang Punia remained unavailable for response on this issue.
